Who we are

The Academy "Lame Ribelli", founded in 2004, has its basis on the study and the development of the historical fight and the stage fight.

The instructors Alberto Di Candia and Diego Delpiano direct the courses, both theoretical and practical, starting from the experimentation of the techniques studied on the historical manuscripts and from the development of an effective method, under the safety canons, emphasizing the dowries of every student.

The academy is established to study all the styles of all the historical weapons, from the knife to the Italian broadsword, from the backsword to the Baroque rapier.

The section "Lame Ribelli Storica", the biggest part which studies and the activities are founded, it draws its own subject from all the essays and manuscripts on the fight, both Italian and not Italian. This is the technical and theoretical base of the academy.

The section " Lame Ribelli Spettacolo " works for giving shows life, and strong stage impact, through the use and the knowledge of the principles of the stage fight, drawing the bases from the martial arts and from the historical fight.
